Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as focal point for all US Army UAS programs, and liaison with Army PM UAS for developing requirements and applications for AeroVironment’s UAS’.
- Develop working relationships with decision makers and
influencers within the Army to enhance understanding of AV’s UAS product line, CLS capability and Training programs. - Maintain continuous relationships with Army program managers
associated with UAS programs. - Identify specific opportunities within the Army where
AeroVironment’s UAS can satisfy current and future U.S. Army mission requirements. - Work with AeroVironment’s UAS engineering staff and specific
payload suppliers to optimize performance of AV UAS’ to meet Army requirements.
Required Qualifications & Background
- Extensive recent experience in working with current U.S. Military with focus on US Army battlespace requirements, architectures,
payloads, and UAS operations mandatory. - Current and transferable U.S. Government Top Secret security
clearance required. - Experience in state-of-the-art UAS technology required.
- Strong technical acumen and experience with UAS and SA payload disciplines required.
- Experience in ground combat and low altitude Army aviation
capabilities required. - Knowledge of DoD POM process and the PPBE process highly
desirable. - Understanding of Army organization, missions and responsibilities with emphasis on Army acquisition structure and process required.
