• Works with and fabricates aircraft structures and tools using various composite materials.
• Works with and fabricates tooling, fixtures, jigs, etc. from a variety of materials including steel and aluminum.
• Follow design drawing instructions and written process instructions in the fabrication of parts.
• Works directly with Design Engineers in performing fabrication and assembly tasks.

• 3 to 5 years experience with large composite aircraft structures fabrication and/or test.
• Experienced with typical composite lay-up techniques.
• Experienced in handling and working with composite materials, fiberglass, carbon fiber or Kevlar.
• Experience in using standard machine shop equipment and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, innovative, and collegiate culture.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal directions for composite lay-up.
• Ability to effectively work in a team to accomplish large part fabrication.
