Career Opportunities

• Conducts general engineering and design of aircraft structures and aero-mechanical systems on small UAVs.
• Design aircraft tooling from component/subsystem specifications.
• Develop SolidWorks drawings for components, use industry standards to generate drawings, and maintain detailed drawing trees.
• Conduct engineering analysis and material selection required to size/design/layout components.
• Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and vendors/suppliers in the design of tooling and components.
• Use established engineering drawing configuration control systems.
• Support flight test operations; some traveling may be required; write ground and flight test procedures.
• Support design reviews, development of manufacturing procedures for designed tooling and components and fabrication of tooling and components.

• A BS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Structural Engineering, or related field or equivalent is required; MS is a plus.
  
• 0-3 years in Aerodynamics, Mechanical systems, material properties.
• Hands on design experience is desired; UAV experience is a plus, especially small UAVs or R/C airplanes.
• Experience with SolidWorks CAD software.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills - Team Player.
• Familiarity with composite aerospace structures design and manufacture is a plus.
