• The Senior Designer will act as team leader of the Design Documentation group.
• The Senior Designer will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing company design standards and documentation processes.
• The Senior Designer will also be responsible for mechanical component, electrical component and system documentation.
• The Senior Designer will work with engineers to create new drawings, modify existing designs, document design changes and shepherd documents through the product document management system.

• The Senior Designer shall demonstrate expert knowledge of CAD, especially SolidWorks.
• The experience should have emphasis on the design of electromechanical systems, mechanical assemblies, electronics packaging, and Design for Manufacturing techniques.  
• Must have good interpersonal skills to be able to interface with the other group members.  
• PCB layout is a plus.  
• Work experience in the mid to high-volume production environment is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in design and documentation.
• Expert knowledge of industry design and documentation standards (GD&T, ASME, Change Control, etc.).
• Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (SolidWorks).
• Expert in industrial and military drafting/drawing standards.
