Research and development provides the source of AV's growth in UAS and efficient electric Energy technologies. Since 1971 the company has continuously achieved results for its customers through advanced research and applied innovation. The company's four vehicles in the Smithsonian Institution's collection acknowledge AV's ability to achieve what others had only talked about. The small UAS, PosiCharge and Power Processing product lines emerged from AV's Labs' research.
Today the research and development group develops new capabilities in support of existing product lines as well as entirely new solutions for potential future product launch. With a well-defined commercialization process in place, AV's R&D continues to expand the company's horizons.
