AV is widely recognized as a world leader in both stratospheric High Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) UAS and in small/micro UAS, with over two decades of experience in developing the state of the art in these classes of UAS. The company’s UAS Advanced Development Center is the advanced design and development source for AV’s small UAS (SUAS), as well as Micro Aerial Vehicles (MAVs), Packaged UAS, VTOL and hovering UAS, and the Global Observer HALE UAS and its predecessor solar electric UAS.
