Obama’s Shift on Afghan War Lets AeroVironment Climb

Jan. 16 (Bloomberg) - AeroVironment Inc., maker of the unmanned drones that Barack Obama called "revolutionary" technology, is expecting a boost in orders when the new administration in Washington shifts the focus of the U.S. war on terror to Afghanistan. "The president-elect has indicated" the importance of drones for the 21st century battlefield, Chief Executive Officer Tim Conver said in an interview.
