Army systems to log million hours; keep soldiers safer
The Army will soon log a modern milestone: one million flight hours among Unmanned Aircraft Systems. The number isn't important in and of itself, said Col. Gregory Gonzalez, UAS project manager in the Program Executive Office for Aviation at Redstone Arsenal. "What it represents is what is important," he said Wednesday during a symposium presented by the Pathfinder chapter of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International.
